We're looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager who is passionate about winning new business, opening doors and creating opportunities. You'll be a natural hunter who thrives on building relationships, securing new client logos, and driving sustainable revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities.
- Win new client logos while growing and expanding existing client relationships.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Represent Bailey Abbott in the market, increasing brand awareness through industry events, networking, and community engagement.
- Develop trusted relationships with executive decision-makers and position Bailey Abbott as a valued consulting partner.
- Promote Bailey Abbott's capabilities across Digital Transformation, Data Intelligence and Technology Consulting, matching client needs with the right consulting expertise.
- Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals, and negotiate successful outcomes that create long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with Consulting Directors and Delivery teams to ensure opportunities align with capability and resource planning.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking through Salesforce.
- Consistently achieve sales targets while contributing to Bailey Abbott's strategic growth and market expansion.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in a Business Development or Sales role within IT consulting, professional services or technology solutions, with a proven track record of winning new business.
- Strong understanding of Digital Transformation, Data Intelligence, and Technology Consulting, with the ability to identify opportunities and align client needs with consulting solutions.
- Proven ability to build strategic relationships with executive stakeholders and influence decision-makers throughout complex sales cycles.
- Highly commercial, with strong negotiation, presentation, and proposal development skills, and the ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Experience developing and managing a healthy sales pipeline using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, with accurate forecasting and opportunity management.
- An established professional network within the Western Australian market and experience selling into government, enterprise, or mid-market organisations will be highly regarded.
