Physical Therapist
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Position: Physical Therapist
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Pay: $50–$55 per hour
Office: Assigned to one Fort Lauderdale office only
A Fort Lauderdale outpatient orthopedic clinic is looking for a Physical Therapist to work with patients who need help recovering from pain, injury, surgery, weakness, and movement limitations.
This position is built around thoughtful evaluations, clear treatment plans, and therapy that helps patients improve function over time. You will work with patients through the full care process, from first visit to progress checks and discharge planning.
Schedule Options:
- 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans for orthopedic conditions
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehab
- Monitor progress and update plans based on patient response
- Educate patients on safe movement and home exercise programs
- Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries
- Coordinate with PTAs and clinic staff when needed
- Support a consistent and organized outpatient care experience
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist License
- DPT Degree or MSPT Degree
- Outpatient experience or outpatient clinical rotation experience
