We are searching for a DevOps Engineer to join our PreSonus Software team located in Hamburg,Germany.

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the development infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, and local server infrastructure for software, firmware, and device drivers. They should have a strong understanding of daily engineering routines and software security best practices. We offer a creative and collaborative environment with the opportunity to work from home part-time.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, maintenance, and administration of CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow configuration
  • Administration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2 and S3
  • Maintenance and administration of local/on-premises servers and the supporting development infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain secrets management and secure pipeline practices across the development infrastructure
  • Maintenance and administration of the integrated ticket and collaboration systems (Jira and Confluence)
  • Collaborate with the Fender IT team (who administer the network remotely) to maintain a stable and reliable office network at the Hamburg location
  • Maintenance and administration of automated test and build systems
  • Monitor and help resolve errors and crashes reported via app stores
  • Improve technical documentation

Qualifications:

Required

  • Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining continuous integration systems, with strong expertise in GitHub Actions and YAML pipeline configuration
  • Experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2 and S3
  • Proficiency with agile software development processes and tools (Git, Jira, Confluence)
  • Familiarity with major desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Experience maintaining local/on-premises server infrastructure

Preferred

  • Experience with code signing for desktop, mobile, and device driver applications across platforms
  • Programming skills (CMake, C++, TypeScript, Python)
  • Hands-on experience building and upgrading computer hardware
  • Experience collaborating with remote IT teams to support office network infrastructure
