Role Overview

We’re looking for a Merchant Operations Executive to join our team and play a key role in managing and supporting our growing merchant network. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive on solving operational challenges, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

As the main point of contact for our merchants, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end operational activities, including merchant onboarding, inventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, merchants, 3PL providers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to oversee shipment schedules, delivery arrangements, inventory movement, merchant activation, and issue resolution.
  • Handle operational transactions and documentation accurately through ERP/WMS systems, including inventory records, stock movements, merchant setup, compliance requirements, and operational reporting.
  • Monitor inventory performance, stock accuracy, merchant activity, and operational KPIs, while driving continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, and overall customer experience.
  • Provide day-to-day support for merchants and internal teams by managing inquiries, troubleshooting operational issues, coordinating cross-functional resolutions, and ensuring timely execution of operational processes.
  • Conduct regular audits, stock takes, reconciliations, warehouse visits, and compliance checks to maintain operational accuracy, regulatory adherence, and effective control of business assets.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Technology, and Logistics teams to support business growth, inventory planning, merchant success, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Diploma qualification.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations or customer support.
  • Experience using a WMS system and handling operational transactions and documentation accurately.
  • Experience working with operational data and performance metrics, including KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with merchant onboarding, stock reconciliation, audits, and issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin.
  • Eligible to work in Malaysia.
  • Experience in the POS domain is a plus.
