Sigma Defense is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Belcamp, MD.
This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements
- 5+ years progressive experience in quality assurance/control within the DoW environment.
- Experience in DOW/Army Vehicle Integration work is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Education Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a Quality Assurance related field of study.
- 2 year technical school and certification in area of expertise will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Perform visual inspections of finished products.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Serve as a technical liaison between quality control and other departments.
- Coordinate testing with Test Engineers.
- Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory requirements.
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
