Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Director of Tax, Accounting & Reporting to join our Financial Planning & Reporting team at our Marousi premises.
The Director of Tax, Accounting & Reporting provides strategic leadership and oversight of tax, accounting, and financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing tax efficiency, maintaining the integrity of financial information, and supporting the organization’s business objectives through effective financial governance and continuous process improvement.
More particularly:
What you’ll do:
- Follow Company's Quality Policy and comply with current operational standards and legislative requirements
- Develop and execute the organization's tax strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of all direct and indirect taxes
- Oversee all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. (IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP)
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of statutory, management, and consolidated financial statements.
- Oversee external reporting requirements and coordinate with auditors
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSc in Accounting
Minimum Experience:
- 10 - 12 years of relevant experience with at least 3 - 5 years in a managerial position
Job-Specific Skills:
- Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
- Deep experience handling international taxation, VAT, and Transfer Pricing frameworks
- Prior experience within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing principles and documentation requirements
- Computer literacy (SAP)
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Strong Project Management Skills
