Details about this opportunity:
- Location: Suffolk, NY (school based)
- Hours: Hours vary based on school district (Ex: Mon - Fri 8am - 3pm) Daytime hours 25-32 hours per week
- Schedule: Follows the school district calendar, including holidays and breaks
- Compensation: $22-$28/hourly

Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a Behavior Consultant and or Clinical Supervisor to support individual student needs
- Can include implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans or skill acquisition programs (data collection, progress reporting, CPI training and implementation)
- Respond to the goals, needs and requests of students and supervisors, on an individualized basis and in a professional manner
- Goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
- Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding students in accordance with State and Federal regulations

About You:

And this background:
- Minimum of 6 months working with children or adolescents with special needs in a supervised setting
- Minimum of High School Diploma required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field preferred
- Experience with students with autism and/or maladaptive behaviors preferred
- Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind
- Bilingual is a plus
