Job Overview:
- Lead the enterprise-wide identification and prioritization of inefficiencies and manual tasks, directing the team to design optimized "To-Be" process states aligned with strategic goals.
- Oversee the analysis, documentation, and mapping of end-to-end business processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to organizational standards.
- Drive strategic execution of cost-reduction and performance-improvement opportunities, owning accountability for measurable financial results and ROI.
- Champion structured methodologies (Lean Six Sigma/DMAIC) and data-driven analytics, guiding the team to uncover insights and ground initiatives in robust evidence.
- Lead strategic collaboration with technology leadership to architect and integrate automation, AI/ML, and digital transformation solutions at scale.
- Orchestrate cross-functional engagement with business units and senior executives to align on roadmaps, secure buy-in, and drive seamless adoption of new processes.
- Establish and govern documentation standards and improvement frameworks, ensuring all process outputs meet quality and regulatory benchmarks.
- Direct the coordination and governance of updating processes and procedures across the Bank, ensuring alignment with change control protocols.
- Ensure enterprise-wide process documentation is standardized, approved, and systematically disseminated to all users and stakeholders for operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and Analyze Current Processes:
- Understand the problems / needs from business executives, product managers, operations managers and business users.
- Deep dive into existing banking processes to pinpoint areas of inefficiency, waste, or risk.
Process Mapping:
- Develop clear and concise process maps and flowcharts to visually represent the current state of each process.
Performance Measurement and Bottleneck Identification:
- Utilize data analysis tools to identify bottlenecks, cycle times, and error rates within processes.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessment for changes.
Process Improvement Recommendations:
- Utilize data-driven insights and benchmarks to propose sustainable solutions that meet business needs, while ensuring that risk is kept to a minimum, and internal audit requirements are met.
- Understand technology solutions to business problems and communicate the solutions back to the business.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops within the Process Re-engineering team to generate new ideas and concepts.
Develop and Maintain Required Documentation:
- Ensure clear and up-to-date process documentation is maintained with adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Develop strategies for process re-engineering aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing cost and improving quality.
- Analyze and document detailed business requirements including data, functional, and non-functional requirements utilizing various techniques including use cases, flowcharts, screen mock-ups, etc.
Work with Business Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Engage with senior executives to communicate actionable innovative offerings which align with the business strategy
Communication and Training:
- Effectively communicate process changes and improvements to all relevant stakeholders.
- Train staff on how business process improvement affects different job functions/ work area.
- Obtain required business sign-off against the business requirements.
Others
- Ensure traceability between business and functional requirements.
- Validate system design against requirements (test cases) produced by the quality assurance team.
- Establish clear metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of innovative initiatives.
- Research new ways of doing things, with a view to constantly improving productivity and quality of work produced.
- Carry out post-implementation review, gather relevant stakeholder/user feedback and share insights
- Facilitate Knowledge Sharing Sessions within the Process Re-engineering team.
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Technical & Functional Skills
- Expert-level Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) and advanced process mapping (BPMN) to architect and govern enterprise-wide process transformations.
- Strategic data analytics, BI tools, and performance metrics to drive data-backed decision-making and track ROI at scale.
- Deep understanding of automation, AI/ML, and digital transformation to lead technology integration and modernization roadmaps.
- Project and program management (Agile, Waterfall, PMP) to oversee multiple cross-functional initiatives from strategy to delivery.
- Comprehensive banking operations, products, and regulatory compliance (operational risk, AML/ATF) to ensure risk-adherent, governance-controlled process changes

- Strategic vision and systems thinking to align process improvements with long-term business objectives and transformation agendas.

Qualification & Experience
Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 6+ years working experience as a Process or Business Analyst, preferably in a financial institution
- Understanding/Application of Continuous Improvement and Business Analysis methodologies.
- Experience in management of complex operations, ideally within the financial service sector
- Experience in dealing with high-level stakeholders in implementation of robust business solutions
- Lean Six Sigma (Green /Black Belt), ITIL, PMP, PRINCE 2, CBAP, Professional Scrum Product Owner, Professional Scrum Master Certifications.
Desirable
- Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS, Bizagi).
- Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Masters in a Business, Engineering, IT or a related discipline
- Other relevant professional certifications and qualifications
