Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
KLA is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join our global Talent Acquisition team in Chennai, India.
Work schedule for this exciting role will be a swing shift position, work hours will be 3:30pm - 12:30am IST.
In this role, you will partner closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Talent Acquisition leaders to identify, engage, and build pipelines of qualified candidates for technical, engineering, and business-critical U.S. positions. You will leverage market intelligence, sourcing technologies, and proactive outreach strategies to build highly qualified talent pipelines and support hiring initiatives across multiple U.S. and Global business functions.
Talent Identification
- Conduct proactive sourcing activities to identify qualified passive and active candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including internet research, talent mapping, publication searches, patent searches, social networking platforms, and professional communities.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies aligned with business hiring priorities.
- Build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions across multiple geographies and disciplines.
Candidate Engagement
- Initiate and manage candidate outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, email, professional networking platforms, and other sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
- Qualify candidate interest, experience, and alignment with position requirements prior to recruiter engagement.
- Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout sourcing interactions.
Pipeline Management
- Build, maintain, and regularly update candidate pipelines for assigned requisitions.
- Track sourcing activity, pipeline health, candidate engagement metrics, and recruiting outcomes.
- Present qualified candidate slates to recruiting partners within agreed service-level expectations.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and activity records within recruiting systems and talent communities.
Partnership & Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Recruiters during intake meetings to understand position requirements, market availability, and sourcing strategies.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and recruiting stakeholders to align sourcing efforts with workforce planning objectives.
- Support sourcing projects and talent building initiatives.
- Support strategic pipeline development initiatives as needed.
Technology & Process Excellence
- Utilize sourcing and recruiting platforms including LinkedIn, HireEZ, Workday, HiredScore, and other talent intelligence tools.
- Manage candidate pools, campaigns, and talent communities within sourcing platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve sourcing effectiveness and candidate engagement strategies.
- Stay current on emerging sourcing technologies and industry best practices.
- Leverage AI-powered recruiting technologies, including talent intelligence platforms, candidate relationship management systems, sourcing automation tools, and generative AI solutions to identify talent, conduct market research, improve outreach effectiveness, and build strategic talent pipelines at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience supporting talent acquisition initiatives for engineering and technical positions, including candidate sourcing, talent mapping, pipeline development, and candidate engagement.
Experience sourcing for engineering, software, semiconductor, manufacturing, or other technical positions.
Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, and AI powered sourcing recruitment tools.
Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with recruiters, hiring managers and stakeholders.
Experience identifying and engaging passive candidates through direct sourcing methodologies.
Experience working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
