As a Recruiter at U.S. Bancorp, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce — proactively sourcing, engaging, and hiring top talent that helps power the business forward. Working with limited reliance on outside agencies, you’ll take ownership of the full recruiting journey and make a real impact on the people who make us who we are.
You’ll bring creativity and insight to the search, using a wide range of sourcing tools and channels to reach candidates across diverse and dynamic talent pools. Driving each hire forward efficiently and cost-effectively, you’ll deliver an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers alike — all while embodying the U.S. Bank Purpose and Core Values in everything you do.
What You’ll Do
Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and build proactive, tailored sourcing strategies
Discover and engage top talent through a variety of creative sourcing channels and techniques
Champion diversity by cultivating broad, inclusive talent pools for every search
Guide candidates through a seamless, positive hiring experience from first contact to offer
Drive the recruiting process forward in a timely, cost-effective, and high-quality manner
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Two or more years of recruiting experience, or a combination of related sales, marketing, or Human Resources experience
Skills That Set You Apart
Working knowledge of talent acquisition — from sourcing to selecting a broad, diverse population of applicants
Strong project management skills that keep multiple searches on track
A marketing mindset and a well-connected recruitment network
Confidence working with data, trends, and metrics to inform smarter hiring decisions
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
A natural ability to juggle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines with ease
Intermediate computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications and applicant tracking systems
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location five (5) days per week.
