RSM's National Healthcare Consulting practice is searching for a Healthcare IT Integration Supervisor who will participate in all aspects of the systems development life cycle related to the integration of leading healthcare IT applications.  This work will include defining customer requirements, building interfaces, designing information flow, system configuration, testing, and go-live support for the Solventum 360 Encompass Revenue Cycle solution.

The Healthcare IT Integration Supervisor will also have a basic understanding of the consulting cycle process within the healthcare industry. The focus will be on working with a project team to implement the Solventum 360 solution and be responsible for the HL7 portion of the project using the Connexion interface solution from Conevity. This work includes interface build, connectivity, data testing, and troubleshooting with the customer and project team.

Responsibilities:

• Implement leading packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate healthcare business and management processes, regulatory requirements, and other business needs
• Deploy innovative healthcare industry-specific solutions
• Design integration approach, and define and build interfaces between various healthcare systems
• Support the deployment of packaged software’s through data integration design, build, test, and deployment
• Develop and maintain system interfaces
• Focus on HL7 integration supporting back-end processes for financial and clinical applications and reporting
• Work with end-users and project teams to analyze and document data and workflow processes. Good data analysis, communication, troubleshooting and writing skills are required.
• Assess current state data flow and work with implementation team to validate proposed future state fits with overall project objectives
• Identify, assess and solve complex business integration problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Work interactively with clients and client team members to configure, test and validate the software application environment
• Contribute to IT systems assessments, CRM system integrations, software selection projects, and system optimization projects.
• Train client personnel on new process/systems
• Travel as needed (0 - 10%)

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Health Information Management, or similar program
• Minimum of 6+ years’ relevant experience with systems implementation projects 
• Hands-on experience with integration engines like (InterSystems Ensemble/IRIS, Mirth, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody)
• Technical experience with HL7, and other such transactional standards
• Experience implementing HL7 data conversions and updating existing interfaces
• Extensive experience with Admissions Discharge Transfer workflows & messages
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Experience analyzing data, performing database validation, and supporting reporting and integration requirements
• Experience with Solventum \ 3M Encompass systems integration is a added bonus
• Direct experience with the implementation of software in a healthcare setting
