The Staff Accountant supports day-to-day finance operations by coordinating expense allocation activities, facilitating reimbursement approval processes, managing finance-related requests, and collaborating with business units to ensure accurate and timely financial processing. This role is also responsible for managing workflows and request queues associated with designated corporate payment program, ensuring requests are reviewed, processed, and completed in accordance with established procedures and service expectations. The position serves as a key liaison between Finance and operational teams and may support a variety of accounting and finance functions based on organizational priorities and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage workflows and request queues for designated payment programs, ensuring timely review, processing, escalation, and resolution of requests.
Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to payment programs and associated financial processes.
Monitor request volumes, track outstanding items, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of actions.
Coordinate with business units and stakeholders to facilitate the accurate allocation of expenses across departments, cost centers, and functional areas.
Review and process employee reimbursement requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval requirements.
Support additional accounting, finance, and operational activities as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager, providing flexibility to contribute across various Finance functions and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, ACCA, CMA (part-qualified) are also encouraged.
2+ years of accounting, finance operations, shared services, or related experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience coordinating across multiple business functions and priorities.
Proficiency in English Language, and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with ERP systems, expense platforms, or ticketing systems is preferred.
