Overview of the role
We are looking for an ambitious, highly driven, and commercially minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Senior Sales Development Representative (Senior SDR) to join our Singapore office and support our growth across Southeast Asia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a target-oriented environment, enjoys opening doors with new prospects, and is motivated by the challenge of creating opportunities from scratch. As the first point of contact for many prospective clients, you will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and engaging decision-makers, uncovering business challenges, and connecting them with the right Euromonitor solutions.
Working closely with our Business Development and Account Management teams, you will help build a strong pipeline of opportunities across key Southeast Asian markets and industries. Success in this role requires a proactive, resilient, and self-motivated individual who is energized by outbound prospecting, embraces challenges, and leverages modern sales technologies, AI-powered research tools, and data-driven insights to maximize prospecting effectiveness and commercial impact.

- Leveraging AI-powered tools, sales intelligence platforms, and automation technologies to increase prospecting efficiency, improve personalization, and uncover new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, research, and engage prospective clients across Southeast Asia through outbound prospecting activities, including phone outreach, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Build, manage, and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities for the commercial team.
- Take ownership of prospecting goals and consistently execute high-volume, high-quality outreach activities.
- Develop targeted prospecting strategies based on industry trends, market developments, and business priorities.
- Engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers to understand their business objectives, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Qualify prospects through effective discovery conversations and needs analysis.
- Clearly articulate Euromonitor's value proposition and how our market intelligence solutions support strategic business decision-making.
- Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings between prospects and the appropriate sales representatives.
- Partner closely with Business Development Managers and Account Managers to accelerate pipeline growth and opportunity development.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of prospect activities within CRM systems.
- Monitor industry developments and share market intelligence with internal stakeholders.
- Support regional marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and lead generation initiatives.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and sales intelligence platforms to enhance account research, identify high-potential prospects, personalize outreach campaigns, and improve lead qualification.
- Leverage technologies such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo, Apollo, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and other emerging AI tools to streamline prospecting workflows and improve productivity.
Requirements
- Right to work in Singapore
- 1-3 years of experience in sales development, business development, lead generation, inside sales, or other commercially focused roles within B2B sales, SaaS, technology, data and analytics, market research, consulting, information services
- Demonstrated ambition and a strong desire to build a successful career in sales and business development.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency.
- Proven resilience and persistence when navigating objections, rejection, and challenging prospecting environments.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging senior business stakeholders.
- Curious, coachable, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
- Strong organizational and research skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using prospecting and sales intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and data to improve lead generation, account research, outreach personalization, and sales productivity
- Fluency in English with additional Southeast Asia language (s) will be an added advantage but not essential
