Responsible and accountable for managing and developing a team of people, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis. Managers are required to understand how other business units operate, how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.
Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints. Provides customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations and communications. Ensures that good customer relations are maintained, and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly and effectively, and in accordance with the consumer laws. Develops organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers. Develops improvement plans in response to customer surveys.
As a Senior Manager, Trade Surveillance Operations reporting to Director Client Support Services , you'll play a critical role in leading a high-performing operations team, driving service excellence for clients and exchanges, and ensuring the integrity and efficiency of trade surveillance processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and retain a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous growth.
- Own team performance and operational outcomes, adapting plans and priorities to address resourcing and process challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues for clients, exchanges, and internal stakeholders, providing guidance and escalation support as needed.
- Evaluate and improve business processes, systems, and workflows to maximize operational efficiency and scalability.
- Coordinate financial and budget activities, reviewing performance data to monitor productivity and progress against goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 8–10 years of experience in trade surveillance, market operations, or a related discipline.
- Prior people management experience, including performance management, talent development, and team leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder issues.
- Clear communicator with experience working across cross-functional and matrixed environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in capital markets, fintech, or a regulated financial services environment.
- Familiarity with client data systems, billing operations, or market surveillance platforms.
- Exposure to global teams and operational best practices in cross-border settings.
