Job Description: Sr. Project Director

Position Overview

JLL is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead  a large infrastructure project and provide visionary leadership across all phases of development. In this role, you will set the strategic direction for successful completion of the project, working collaboratively with client, consultants, contractors, and agencies to deliver exceptional outcome that exceed stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate would possess extensive project management experience with demonstrated capability to lead large-scale, complex developments from inception through completion. We are seeking a seasoned professional with proven strong technical, leadership and proven client relationship management abilities.

As a Project Director, you'll create comprehensive execution plans, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure project are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. From concept design through to handover, you'll be the driving force behind project success, establishing a dynamic environment that promotes innovation, employee growth, and upholds JLL's values and culture. Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, or related discipline; OR a combination of formal education and more than 20 years of relevant work experience.
• 20+ years of progressive project management experience in real estate and construction
• Prior experience with leading International/ Pan-India Contractors
• Demonstrated track record managing end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects

Technical Competencies:

• Strong understanding of development management principles and practices
• Ability to interpret, coordinate, and discuss construction drawings with precision
• Experience managing projects from concept design through construction documents, as-built drawings, and final handover
• Experience with design management, cost estimation, and commercial negotiations
• Preferred experience with mixed- use development project
• Experience working with large, reputable contractors on sizeable developments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project scheduling softwareProven ability to manage contract administration, cost control, schedule management, and health and safety requirements
• Knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements within the architecture and construction industry

Leadership & Business Acumen:

• Proven track record as a confident, proactive leader who inspires teams and drives results
• Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome challenges quickly and calmly
• Big-picture thinking with strong strategic planning capabilities
• Comprehensive understanding of business processes, systems, tools, and industry best practices
• Deep knowledge of the local real estate and construction market

Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client engagement, stakeholder management, and team motivation
• Demonstrated ability to conduct effective meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and agencies
