The Opportunity: 

CACI is seeking an experienced Risk Manager, Journeyman to support logistics operations across the Indo-Pacific. The Risk Manager, Journeyman serves as CACI's supply chain risk management professional responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating operational, logistical, and supply chain risks that could impact mission execution. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this position supports proactive risk management efforts that enhance operational resilience, supply chain continuity, and mission readiness across distributed and contested environments. 

The Risk Manager, Journeyman works closely with Government stakeholders, program leadership, logistics personnel, site managers, subcontractors, and mission partners to develop risk mitigation strategies, monitor program performance, and ensure timely resolution of identified issues. This position supports informed decision-making through risk analysis, reporting, and continuous assessment while promoting operational continuity and mission success. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, assess, and monitor program, operational, and supply chain risks affecting mission execution. 

  • Develop and maintain the program Risk Register and risk management documentation. 

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments supporting program planning and execution. 

  • Coordinate risk mitigation strategies with program leadership and functional managers. 

  • Monitor risk indicators and recommend proactive actions to minimize operational impacts. 

  • Support supply chain continuity planning and operational resilience initiatives. 

  • Conduct risk assessments for logistics operations, transportation, facilities, and mission support activities. 

  • Coordinate issue management and track corrective actions through resolution. 

  • Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and executive briefings for program leadership. 

  • Facilitate risk review meetings and support Government program management reviews. 

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and mission partners to identify and manage external risks. 

  • Support contingency planning and continuity of operations initiatives. 

  • Promote compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and risk management best practices. 

  • Conduct lessons learned and trend analyses to improve future operational planning. 

  • Foster a proactive risk management culture across the program. 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting supply chain management, logistics operations, risk management, operational planning, or Government program execution. 

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations. 

  • Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational, logistics, or supply chain risks supporting Government programs. 

  • Demonstrated ability to brief senior Government and program leadership on operational risks, mitigation strategies, and program performance. 

Desired:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Risk Management, or a related field. 

  • Experience supporting contingency operations, operational resilience, business continuity, or supply chain risk management initiatives. 

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, risk management software, or logistics information systems. 

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent risk or supply chain management certifications are preferred.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$54,500 - $111,400
