We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the implementation of enterprise-wide Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023 compliance initiatives. This role will serve as the primary point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external implementation partners, ensuring the successful planning, execution, governance, and completion of privacy and compliance programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Privacy, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, and Project Coordination, with experience managing cross-functional initiatives, tracking project milestones, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Governance
- Coordinate end-to-end execution of DPDPA implementation projects across multiple business functions.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external implementation partners or consulting agencies.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and governance frameworks.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues and dependencies.
- Monitor implementation activities and ensure successful closure of deliverables.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, IT, and business teams to drive project execution.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and status reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on implementation priorities.
- Escalate project risks and blockers to leadership when necessary.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Support enterprise-wide implementation of DPDPA compliance requirements.
- Track remediation activities and ensure completion within agreed timelines.
- Assist in identifying compliance gaps and coordinating corrective actions.
- Ensure project activities align with organizational governance standards and regulatory obligations.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and governance updates for leadership.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including action trackers, risk registers, meeting minutes, and implementation records.
- Support audit readiness by ensuring project documentation is complete and well maintained.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project governance processes and compliance frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating enterprise-wide privacy, compliance, governance, or regulatory implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of DPDPA, privacy regulations, risk management, or compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external consulting or implementation partners.
- Strong project planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting data privacy, information security, or governance transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Exposure to GDPR or other global privacy regulations.
- Relevant certifications in Privacy, Compliance, Information Security, or Project Management are an advantage.
