Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end enterprise architecture for migrating and integrating data solutions from AWS to Microsoft Fabric.
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric security models, governance, workspace structures, access controls, and tenant administration.
- Establish and maintain the BAU operating model, including monitoring, support, incident management, and continuous improvement.
- Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models for enterprise analytics.
- Build complex DAX measures, transformations using Power Query, and data solutions using SQL.
- Design effective semantic models, data relationships, and data structures to support scalable reporting.
- Perform testing, deployment, defect resolution, and production support across development and production environments.
- Apply DirectQuery performance optimization techniques and troubleshoot report/model performance issues.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
- Establish best practices around Fabric governance, deployment, security, performance, and operational support.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Proven experience in AWS-to-Fabric enterprise architecture or migration.
- Strong knowledge of Fabric tenant administration, security, governance, and workspace management.
- Advanced DAX, Power Query, and SQL skills.
- Strong understanding of Power BI semantic models and data relationships.
- Experience with testing, deployment, defect resolution, and production support.
- Good understanding of DirectQuery architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, integration, and analytics best practices.
Preferred
- Experience leading enterprise Microsoft Fabric transformation or migration initiatives.
- Knowledge of Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Factory/Data Pipelines, Dataflows, and OneLake.
- Experience establishing governance and BAU operating models for enterprise analytics platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
