In this role, you’ll help residents regain independence, improve functional abilities, and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals in a supportive, resident-centered environment. Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve ADLs, strength, mobility, coordination, and functional independence
Implement evidence-based treatment approaches based on each resident’s needs and goals
Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities to support clinical outcomes
Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with nursing, physicians, therapy staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and techniques that promote independence and safety
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current and active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license, or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
