Job Description

Role Summary  

This position is responsible for leading the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of best-in-class web applications. The Senior React Developer is a self-motivated technical leader who collaborates across teams, owns software quality end-to-end, and ensures solutions align with enterprise standards to minimize customer impact. This role requires strong experience with Agile delivery and DevOps principles, and the ability to drive applications through the full software development lifecycle, including production support.

Core Responsibilities  

- Lead frontend architecture and development using React for enterprise-grade applications.  

- Develop modern, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces.  

- Build reusable components and frontend libraries for scalability and long-term maintainability.  

- Translate UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, production-ready code.  

- Optimize applications for maximum performance across browsers and web-capable devices.  

- Partner with product, UX, backend, QA, and platform teams across delivery phases.  

- Drive end-to-end software delivery from planning through deployment and support.  

- Lead technical workstreams and mentor engineering team members.  

- Collaborate directly with product teams to refine requirements and execution plans.  

- Ensure engineering best practices in code quality, testing, security, and observability.  

- Support and troubleshoot production issues, including root-cause analysis and resolution.  

- Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile delivery and DevOps practices.  

Basic Qualifications  

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.  

- 10+ years of software engineering experience.  

- Senior engineering background with technical leadership experience.  

- Proven Agile delivery experience.  

Required Technical Skills  

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model.  

- Deep expertise in React.js and its core principles.  

- Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA).  

- Hands-on experience with React workflows (such as Redux/Flux).  

- Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture patterns.  

- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.  

- Familiarity with modern authorization mechanisms, including JSON Web Tokens (JWT).  

- Experience with frontend build pipelines and tools (Babel, Webpack, NPM, Vite).  

- Experience with code versioning tools, including Git.  

- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or similar).  

- Kubernetes experience.  

- End-to-end software delivery expertise.  

Preferred Skills  

- Familiarity with current ECMAScript standards.  

- Experience with data structure libraries (for example, Immutable.js).  

- Knowledge of isomorphic/universal React is a plus.  

- Backend Java experience is a plus.  

- Strong benchmarking, optimization, and performance tuning skills.  

Leadership Expectations
