As an IT Project Manager at Micron Technology, you are responsible for driving medium to complex projects with minimal assistance towards successful delivery. You should be able to successfully manage, monitor, and control the project through all phases from initiation, planning, execution and closure by delivering on time and within budget. You should serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. You should be able to successfully navigate complex project lifecycle and be able to work with vendors, implementation partners and senior Micron leaders.
You must demonstrate various levels of strategic planning including identifying project requirements, establishing clear and achievable objectives.
The IT Project Manager is a strategic role that requires collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure business needs are met. This includes understanding how a project impacts the strategic roadmap of the business and aligning project execution to help achieve business objectives.
As part of Micron's AI transformation strategy, the IT Project Manager is expected to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-enabled tools to enhance project delivery, team productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency. This role should continuously explore opportunities to apply AI-supported solutions across project management processes while maintaining appropriate governance, security, and ethical use of AI technologies.
