Internship dates: January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.

Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Build and enhance our software build management and requirements management web application for aircraft engine control systems.

• Optimize the performance of existing tools and create intuitive, user-friendly graphical interfaces.

• Document detailed help files and user guides for all new and updated tools.

• Organize and collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm, evaluate, and implement innovative solutions.

• Analyze tool performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Gain hands-on exposure to the DO-178C software development process.

What do you need to be successful?

Required Qualifications:

• Be eligible to work in Canada.

• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.

• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.

• Experience with SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, D3/JQuery, JavaScript, Git, XML, JSON, and APIs.

• Solid understanding of relational databases and web page design.

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets):

• Knowledge of graphic design principles, including layouts and visual elements.

• Experience with LaTeX, Python, Visual Basic, or C++.

• Familiarity with the Symfony PHP framework.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities effectively.

The salary range for this role is 23.70 to 34.50 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
