Internship dates: January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
Build and enhance our software build management and requirements management web application for aircraft engine control systems.
Optimize the performance of existing tools and create intuitive, user-friendly graphical interfaces.
Document detailed help files and user guides for all new and updated tools.
Organize and collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm, evaluate, and implement innovative solutions.
Analyze tool performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Gain hands-on exposure to the DO-178C software development process.
What do you need to be successful?
Required Qualifications:
Be eligible to work in Canada.
Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
Experience with SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, D3/JQuery, JavaScript, Git, XML, JSON, and APIs.
Solid understanding of relational databases and web page design.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications (Assets):
Knowledge of graphic design principles, including layouts and visual elements.
Experience with LaTeX, Python, Visual Basic, or C++.
Familiarity with the Symfony PHP framework.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities effectively.

The salary range for this role is 23.70 to 34.50 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
