The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.

As part of this growth, we’re offering an internship opportunity to support our Process Experts and Senior Process Experts in large-scale mammalian upstream and downstream manufacturing.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Duration: 12 months.

What you'll do:

• Assisting in technology transfer activities by helping prepare process documentation, tracking data, and coordinating cross-functional input.
• Supporting data collection and analysis for manufacturing batches, deviations, and process performance trends.
• Helping to prepare presentations, reports, and process descriptions for internal stakeholders and customer interactions.
• Participating in process risk assessments, change controls, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with Manufacturing, MSAT, QA, and Process Development teams on daily operations and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintaining GMP documentation practices and ensuring data integrity in support of regulatory compliance.
• Attending and contributing to team meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.

What we are looking for:

• Ongoing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field.
• Strong curiosity about biopharma manufacturing and process science (USP or DSP).
• Basic understanding of bioprocessing and GMP is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a good teammate.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
