Job Summary

The role will be responsible for employee benefits administration, HR records, recruitment support, leave and timesheet management, employee relations, disciplinary processes, staff exits, and general HR administration.The position requires a person who can work under pressure, handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally, and manage multiple HR activities within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and follow up pension claims and liaise with Old Mutual on pension-related queries.
• Manage Group Personal Accident Insurance claims and related administration.
• Support recruitment and selection processes, including interviews and recruitment documentation.
• Support leave management and maintain accurate leave records.
• Coordinate timesheet collection, review, and filing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records.
• Manage resignations, exit forms, clearance processes, and exit documentation.
• Attend to staff grievances and employee relations matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
• Coordinate and provide administrative support for disciplinary hearings, including preparation of notices, documentation, minutes, and hearing reports.
• Prepare various HR-related payment requests, including approved financial support in cases involving the death of a staff member or dependant.
• Provide general HR administrative support and perform other duties assigned by the Senior HR Manager.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years’ relevant experience within the Foundation.
• Experience in HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, and disciplinary processes.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal, and record-keeping skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Important

The position is demanding and requires flexibility. The successful candidate may be required to work beyond normal working hours and occasionally on weekends, depending on operational demands.
