We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead the organization’s HR function and drive people-focused initiatives across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in end-to-end recruitment, HR operations, payroll management, employee engagement, grievance handling, and team leadership.
The role requires a hands-on HR leader who can build effective people processes, ensure compliance, support business growth, and create a positive and productive workplace culture.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete Human Resources function, ensuring HR strategies and processes are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Own end-to-end recruitment, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, onboarding, and hiring closure.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract, assess, and retain high-quality talent across functions and levels.
- Manage core HR operations, including employee documentation, attendance, leave management, onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit processes.
- Oversee payroll management, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing, payroll inputs, deductions, reimbursements, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with finance and external payroll partners to resolve payroll-related discrepancies and maintain accurate employee records.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that improve employee experience, motivation, productivity, and retention.
- Establish effective mechanisms for addressing and resolving employee grievances fairly, confidentially, and promptly.
- Partner with leadership and managers on performance management, workforce planning, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team while establishing clear goals, processes, and performance standards.
- Track and analyze HR metrics such as attrition, hiring performance, employee costs, absenteeism, engagement, and workforce trends.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in End-to-End Recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources / HR Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Payroll Management and related HR processes.
- Strong understanding of employment practices, HR policies, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and manage multiple HR priorities simultaneously.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Employee Engagement programs and initiatives.
- Strong exposure to Employee Grievance handling and employee relations.
- Proven experience in Team Handling, mentoring, and developing HR professionals.
- Experience implementing HR processes, systems, and organizational initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, people-oriented, and business-focused HR professional with 6–16 years of experience. They should be capable of independently managing the HR function, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution, and building a strong organizational culture while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
