  • Support supervisors and trades personnel in meeting quality requirements and maintaining compliance with refinery procedures and Australian Standards.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, auditing programs and the ongoing development of quality systems and procedures.
  • Facilitate quality meetings, lessons learned workshops and continuous improvement forums across multiple stakeholders.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Perform walkdowns and field inspections of scheduled maintenance, inspection and installation activities.
  • Verify quality records, inspection reports, test results and progressive sign-offs are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review work packs before release to the field and identify documentation deficiencies, missing quality requirements or inspection hold points.
  • Work closely with E&I Supervisors to coordinate planned work and identify required quality control activities for each scope.
  • Trend and analyse quality incidents, NCRs and repeat failures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote a positive quality culture through coaching, mentoring, field leadership interactions and proactive engagement with work crews.
  • Monitor compliance with refinery standards, specifications and client requirements.
