Role insights: 

• Performance Optimization: Analyze and improve the performance of database. Conduct regular tuning checks.
• Database Management: Maintain Azure SQL Databases and other Microsoft data solutions. Oversee database migrations, upgrades, and patches.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure databases comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with development teams to optimize database designs and queries. Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, performance tuning activities, and operational procedures.

What makes you unique:

• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate,   Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or other relevant certifications in Azure and SQL Server technologies.
•  Several years of experience in database administration, with a focus on performance tuning.
• Previous experience with cloud-based database solutions, particularly in Azure environments.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code).
