Summary:
As a Data Migration Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the entire data migration process to guarantee that data is transferred accurately and comprehensively to the new system. This role requires coordinating multiple teams, establishing clear migration strategies and controls, and proactively managing potential risks. The position demands continuous communication and collaboration to ensure a seamless and dependable transition, while monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and implement best practices for data migration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are met without compromising quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and integration within the project environment.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with PySpark.
- Strong knowledge of data migration methodologies and tools related to large-scale data environments.
- Ability to design and enforce data quality controls and validation techniques throughout the migration process.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex project workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and scalable data processing frameworks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
