Job Description:

The Category Strategy Support Lead plays a key role in developing and communicating category strategies that align with business goals, value creation, risk mitigation, and supply chain optimization.

Working Hours: This role operates on a shift basis and requires flexibility.

Candidates must be flexible to work either:

• Shift A (ASPAC/EU): 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM MYT, or

• Shift B (ASPAC/US): 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM MYT.

Essential Education

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business, or equivalent experience.

• 6–8 years demonstrated ability in Indirect Procurement.

• Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements

• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Use market intelligence and spend analysis to identify value creation and cost optimization opportunities.

• Build trusted collaborations, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

• Handle supplier performance, contracts, compliance, and procurement risk.

• Influence stakeholders and drive alignment on strategic procurement initiatives.

• Lead sourcing and category projects to deliver commercial value and business outcomes.

• Apply strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support decision-making.

• Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and process optimization.

• Lead and mentor teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
