We are looking for a highly analytical and business-focused Business Analyst with 3–6 years of experience to support strategic decision-making, business planning, performance analysis, and data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Business Intelligence and business planning, along with a solid understanding of business analysis methodologies.
In this role, you will work closely with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and operational stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze performance, identify opportunities, and translate data into actionable insights. You will play an important role in helping teams make informed decisions and improve business performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business performance, operational metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain Business Intelligence reports, dashboards, and analytical models to support business and management decisions.
- Gather, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources to generate meaningful business insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Support business planning activities, including forecasting, budgeting, performance planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, analytical requirements, and actionable recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify trends, patterns, and gaps in business data and recommend appropriate actions.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to understand operational and business performance issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Support the development of business cases, feasibility assessments, and strategic recommendations.
- Track project and business outcomes against defined objectives and KPIs.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across business reports and dashboards.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in Business Intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of business planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in business analysis, business intelligence, strategy, operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and performance reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and structured outputs.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and business reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Practical experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Exposure to BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Knowledge of SQL and data querying.
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, or strategic planning.
- Familiarity with process improvement and workflow optimization.
- Exposure to project management methodologies and tools.
