The Third-Party Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing management of the Marmon Medical Group’s third-party due diligence and compliance risk management program. This position conducts risk-based anti-corruption due diligence reviews of distributors, sales agents, consultants, customs brokers, logistics providers, healthcare intermediaries, lobbying firms, suppliers, acquisition targets, and other third-party business relationships that may present a risk of bribery and corruption.
The specialist role serves as a key member of the compliance function, partnering with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit, and business leaders to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor anti-corruption, healthcare compliance, sanctions, trade compliance, and reputational risks associated with third parties globally.
This role supports compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act, applicable healthcare compliance laws, global anti-corruption regulations, trade sanctions requirements, and Marmon policies governing third-party risk management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Third-Party Due Diligence

  • Manage end-to-end anti-corruption due diligence reviews for distributors, consultants, sales agents, customs brokers, freight forwarders, healthcare intermediaries, joint venture partners, and other third-party intermediaries.
  • Review and validate due diligence questionnaires, corporate records, ownership documentation, financial information, references, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments using established risk-ranking methodologies.
  • Identify and evaluate corruption, fraud, sanctions, export control, healthcare compliance, and reputational risks.
  • Review ownership structures and beneficial ownership information.
  • Analyze relationships involving government officials, healthcare professionals, and state-owned entities.
  • Escalate potential red flags and high-risk relationships for legal and compliance review.

Risk Assessments and Investigations

  • Perform risk-based assessments of proposed third-party engagements.
  • Evaluate geographic, transactional, industry, compensation, and government interaction risks.
  • Analyze adverse media, litigation history, enforcement actions, sanctions screening results, and other public records.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence for high-risk third parties.
  • Participate in remediation planning and risk mitigation activities.
  • Document investigation results and recommendations.

Screening and Monitoring

  • Conduct sanctions screening and restricted party screening reviews.
  • Support screening activities involving third parties, beneficial owners, banking institutions, and key personnel.
  • Monitor due diligence renewals and periodic reviews.
  • Manage annual certification processes for medium and high risk third parties.
  • Identify and investigate compliance alerts, adverse media findings, and monitoring exceptions.

Compliance Program Support

  • Support implementation and administration of third-party risk management systems such as Blue Umbrella, E2Open/Amber Road, Dow Jones, Refinitiv, World-Check, or similar platforms.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of due diligence procedures, work instructions, templates, and guidance documents.
  • Generate metrics and reports for senior management and compliance committees.
  • Maintain due diligence records and supporting documentation in accordance with record retention requirements.
  • Support internal audits and compliance assessments.

Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Support compliance due diligence activities for acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Review anti-corruption, healthcare compliance, transparency, privacy, sanctions, and trade compliance risks associated with acquisition targets.
  • Assist in preparing compliance risk assessments and integration recommendations.

Training and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Educate business stakeholders regarding third-party compliance requirements.
  • Provide guidance to procurement, commercial, and operational personnel regarding due diligence obligations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business functions regarding third-party engagements.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Law, Criminal Justice, Compliance, Political Science, International Studies, or related field.

Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in compliance, legal, internal audit, risk management, investigations, procurement compliance, or due diligence.
  • Experience conducting third-party anti-corruption due diligence reviews.
  • Experience working with compliance screening databases and due diligence platforms.
  • Experience creating and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data reconciliation)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • Experience supporting global compliance programs preferred.
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or multinational corporate experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

One or more of the following:

  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
  • Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP)
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Paralegal certification
