Role Summary:
As an Activation Specialist for our holding company, Miroma, you'll set up, activate, optimise and report on programmatic media campaigns end-to-end, translating client strategy into well-executed, fully optimised activity, underpinned by rigorous QA and documentation within a remote delivery team.
Role:
- Set up, activate, optimise and manage digital paid programmatic campaigns across display, video, CTV, audio and High Impact formats.
- Manage day-to-day trading operations, including bid adjustments, budget management and performance monitoring.
- Analyse performance data to formulate strategy and make informed, timely decisions.
- Translate the strategy set by the client team into clear, well-executed activation plans.
- Ensure campaigns deliver their budgets in full, pacing accurately to agreed timings.
- Use audience targeting strategies and creative testing to deliver optimised campaigns against client KPIs.
- Proactively identify potential issues in setup, delivery or performance before they escalate, flagging them promptly to the relevant stakeholders.
- Follow established QA processes rigorously, ensuring every campaign is checked and verified before going live and at key points throughout delivery.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of campaign setup, changes and decisions to support handover and continuity within a remote team.
- Provide weekly reporting, commentary and end-of-campaign reporting as required, presenting where necessary.
- Work effectively with client teams to ensure an integrated approach across other media channels.
- Liaise with publishers to ensure the timely setup of PMP and PG deals.
- Contribute to product development, offering suggestions on where efficiencies can be achieved through automation.
- Support proposals for external clients and help resolve issues as they arise, both internally and externally.
- Identify case study opportunities.
You:
- At least 5 years of experience in programmatic trading or digital media buying, whether at an agency, trading desk or in-house team.
- Strong understanding of paid digital advertising implementation, preferably programmatic, but also YouTube and Social.
- Comfortable using data to inform decisions and achieve goals, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong personal accountability.
- Experience operating effectively within a remote or distributed team structure, with a disciplined approach to process and communication.
- Understanding of the media owner landscape across inventory, creative solutions and mobile geo-location.
- In-depth knowledge of DSPs such as Google DV360, Amazon, Quantcast or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of third-party ad servers such as Campaign Manager or Flashtalking.
- Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting solutions such as Adverity, Power BI or Tableau.
- Other biddable media (search/social) buying experience is desirable.
- Strong workflow management and the ability to adhere to set deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
