Role: Social Media Manager

Monthly Rate: $450 - $800/month

Availability: Part-time - 20 hours/week

Time Zone: Flexible, with a few hours of overlap for reviewing results live

This is a test of how keen you are with details and how well you follow instructions. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

3️⃣ 1-Minute Introduction Video – Record a short introduction video (preferably using Loom) and provide the link in your application. Before you do, check out these video tips and sample videos. Important: By submitting your video, you grant Coconut permission to share it on our platforms to help increase your chances of being matched with a client. Videos with broken or dummy links will result in disqualification.

Requirements

Experience Needed:

- Create short-form clips from an existing backlog of long-form content

- Edit and optimize videos for social media platforms

- Manage and coordinate the social media publishing calendar

- Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms

- Ensure content is posted consistently according to the content plan

- Organize and maintain content assets

- Collaborate with the team on content priorities and performance

- Support the growth of the company's social media presence through engaging short-form content

Good to have:

- Portfolio showcasing previous work

- Examples of viral or high-performing business-related content

- Experience growing business or B2B social media accounts

Non-negotiable Requirements:

- Previous experience creating short-form video clips for social media

- Previous social media management experience, including scheduling and publishing content

- Strong understanding of social media content and platform best practices

Industry/Tools Experience:

- Video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)

- Social media scheduling platforms (experience with any is acceptable)
