Sobre este puesto de SEO & Content Marketing Specialist (008-01224) en Hunt St
Looking for Philippines-based candidates
Job Role: SEO & Content Marketing Specialist
Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is: An independent Australian media agency based in South Melbourne. In a complex and fragmented media landscape, we believe growth doesn't come from doing more, it comes from doing what matters. We help brands change behaviour by decoding what drives people, developing smarter media strategies, and delivering with clarity, accountability and commercial focus.
Our work combines media strategy, planning, digital activation, social media, data and technology, with a strong focus on understanding consumer behaviour and identifying what actually drives demand. Assembled Media is part of Assembled Group, a collective of independent agencies spanning media, public relations, digital transformation, brand strategy and creative.
Role Overview: We are seeking a SEO and Content Creation Specialist to join our client’s team as a genuine extension of the business—not a churn-and-burn freelancer. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of ongoing monthly SEO content and organic social media while bringing both strong writing skills and basic design capability to the team.
The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing content initiatives, including SEO-focused blog content, keyword-based content rewrites, and organic social media assets created in Canva.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO & Content (core focus)
- Own and manage ongoing monthly SEO content creation.
- Write SEO-focused blog content based on targeted keywords.
- Conduct and implement keyword-based content rewrites to improve organic search performance.
- Support the creation of ongoing organic social media content.
- Create basic social media designs and visual assets using Canva.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent, high-quality content across SEO and organic social channels.
- Focus specifically on organic marketing activities; this role does not involve paid advertising or paid media strategy.
Campaign, Planning & Project Support
- Support media campaign setup, translating briefs and approved plans into accurate build and activation tasks.
- Maintain and update media plans, ensuring changes are captured accurately and version control is clean.
- Assist with campaign administration, including trafficking documentation, asset collation, naming conventions and platform setup checks.
- Provide project management support across content and campaign workstreams — maintaining timelines, trackers and action lists, and following through on commitments.
- Support the preparation of internal reporting and campaign documentation.
- Flag risks, gaps or inconsistencies early rather than waiting to be asked.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in SEO, content creation, digital marketing, social media, media agency support or a related field.
- Experience creating SEO content, particularly blogs and keyword-focused content.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging, SEO-friendly content.
- Experience with organic social media content creation.
- Basic graphic design skills and experience using Canva.
- Ability to combine strong writing and basic design capability rather than specialising exclusively in one area.
- Exceptional attention to detail — accuracy across documents, plans, trackers and campaign setup is non-negotiable in this role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams to deadline.
- Confident working in spreadsheets and maintaining structured documentation.
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the team, taking ownership of ongoing monthly deliverables rather than working project-by-project.
- Agency-side experience is a plus.
Who You Are:
- Accountable for outcomes, not just outputs you own your work end to end.
- Meticulous and consistent; you check your work before it reaches someone else.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented, comfortable raising issues early.
- Curious about performance and always looking for ways to improve quality or efficiency.
- Clear and transparent in how you communicate with the internal team.
- Operates with a growth mindset and welcomes feedback.

- Canva
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics
- Ahrefs / SEMrush
- WordPress
- Word/Excel/Powerpoint
- Meta Business Suite
