About The Role:
You’re more than a manager. You’re a coach, mentor and source of confidence for people at the very beginning of their careers.
We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead SiteMinder’s first German-speaking Sales Academy in Barcelona. You’ll manage a team of graduates and junior profiles who may have little or no previous work experience, helping them develop into confident, full 360 sales-cycle representatives within 12 months.
This role is ideal for a patient, nurturing sales leader who enjoys helping people learn, build confidence and reach their potential.
What you’ll do:
Lead and develop a team of German-speaking sales graduates and junior profiles.
Create a supportive, inclusive environment where people feel comfortable learning and making mistakes.
Deliver structured coaching through role plays, call reviews, shadowing and regular feedback.
Set clear expectations and individual development plans for each team member.
Teach the fundamentals of prospecting, discovery, presenting value, handling objections, pipeline management and closing.
Use performance data to guide coaching while recognising that everyone develops at a different pace.
Work with Sales Enablement and senior sales leaders to improve the academy program.
Prepare successful team members to transition into full 360 sales-cycle roles after 12 months.
What we’re looking for:
Experience managing, mentoring or coaching graduates, apprentices, interns, SDRs, BDRs or other junior talent.
A patient, empathetic and nurturing coaching style.
The ability to support people who may be learning workplace expectations and sales skills at the same time.
Practical sales experience and a strong understanding of the full sales cycle in a SaaS environment.
A balance of high standards, clear accountability and genuine care for people’s development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex ideas simple.
Experience using CRM and performance data to manage activity and improve results.
Fluency in German and strong English communication skills are highly desirable.
