The Opportunity

The Accounting Centre of Excellence team is responsible for statutory reporting and local compliance for Adobe group companies globally. The team also drives process modernisation, internal controls, automation and finance transformation while partnering closely with Tax, AP, AR, Procurement, Legal, Tech team and external advisors.

This role is designed to provide dedicated ownership of Adobe's global e-Compliance agenda. The role will lead execution across e-invoicing, e-reporting, e-audit and regulatory readiness, with a strong focus on indirect tax, VAT and regulatory compliance expertise. It is a business-critical bridge between Tax, Accounting and Technology, ensuring Adobe has a scalable operating model for today’s mandates and future regulatory expansion.

What you will do

• Own and maintain the global e-Compliance program across e-invoicing, e-reporting, e-audit and related regulatory obligations, including roadmap and monitoring new regulatory mandates.

• Lead cross-functional working groups across Accounting, Indirect Tax, AP, AR, Tech, Procurement, Legal, Revenue Ops and external advisors/partners to drive timely delivery and clear ownership.

• Manage country implementation plans: owners, deadlines and risks. Track vendor budgets and contracts. Turn tax rules into clear requirements for AP, AR, and IT to build against. Write documentation that makes audits smoother.

• Own testing strategy and activities across AP inbound, AR outbound and e-reporting workstreams, including UAT readiness, test scenarios, country-specific current state / future state process flow diagrams, master data validation, exception handling and operational handover.

• Responsible for hypercare and ongoing operational support, including production issues, implementation monitoring, outbound transactional delivery and vendor coordination once countries are live.

• Lead execution of the regulatory advisor partnership, including strategic advisory, scope clarification, deliverables, roadmap alignment, implementation readiness and ongoing support model.

• Drive SAP S/4HANA and future-state architecture evaluation, integration patterns, data flows, API/SFTP considerations, controls and transition into execution.

What you will need

• Strong experience in indirect tax, VAT, or e-invoicing rules.

• Experience managing a project or program, including budgets and timelines.

• The ability to read a regulation and turn it into something a developer or accountant can use.

• Comfortable working with external advisors and vendors. Confident explaining a tricky compliance topic to executives.

• Bonus points for SAP S/4HANA or SAP DRC experience, or exposure to ViDA, Peppol, KSeF or SAF-T.
