The Staff Physical Therapist is our resident Autumn Mobility Architect & Leaf-Crunching Captain. You will help residents build strength, master balance, and stay steady on their feet so they can safely enjoy crisp fall strolls and seasonal festivities!
Core Responsibilities
Movement Magic: Evaluate residents, craft personalized rehab plans, and teach essential fall prevention strategies to keep everyone upright when the leaves start dropping.
Squad Leader: Supervise PT Assistants, aides, and students; coach Restorative Aides; and collaborate with docs, nurses, and families to toast every recovery milestone.
Record Keeping: Keep medical records crisp, compliant, and current in PointClickCare or Net Health before grabbing a warm cider.
Gear Specialist: Recommend top-tier equipment (walkers, canes, grab bars) to keep residents navigating the cozy season with maximum independence.
Key Qualifications
Education: Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s required).
Licensure: Active state PT license in good standing (plus CPR certification, if applicable).
Skills: Tech-savvy, sharp problem solver, and an upbeat communicator who brings warm, encouraging energy to the facility.
Physical Demands & Vibe
The Workout: Hands-on, active role involving plenty of movement, bending, and heavy lifting (50–100+ lbs) to safely assist and transfer residents.
The Atmosphere: Low-to-moderate noise, a warm and welcoming team environment, with reasonable accommodations available to keep everyone thriving all autumn long.
Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 / hour
