The opportunity
For our Business Unit Transformers based in Monselice (PD) we are looking for a candidate who will be responsible Mechanical Design of power transformers by following customer’s specifications, internati-onal IEC rules and internal standards.
How you'll make an impact
- 3D design of electrical transformer's mechanical internal part, including drawings and calculations according to specification. Contribute to design reviews and design verification;
- Identify variation requests to support contract changes;
- Follow work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and ensure quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost;
- Complete risk and opportunity assessments and the implementation of resulting actions in area of responsibility. Report any contract / quality / program / cost issues to management for resolution;
- Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of design assignments; Collaborate with the supply chain function, review vendor documentation, provide design related evaluation of proposals for standard materials and equipment;
- Assist in communication with customer pertaining to specific project design assignments or meetings;
- Create specifications for purchase and manufacturing, interface with suppliers and production dept;
- Use internal standard rules, processes and tools;

Your background
- Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma (electrical/mechanical);
- 3/4 years of experience in mechanical / electromechanical design;
- Experience in transformers field is a plus;
- Good knowledge of CAD 2D/3D;
- PTC Creo Parametric, SAP knowledge is a plus;
- Good knowledge of English and Italian;
- Availability for short, occasional trips to customers/suppliers.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:
- Starting from: 38000 € gross
The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
