Prediction markets are one of the firm's high-conviction growth areas. We are building a dedicated strategy, partnering and trading on world leading event contract platforms, and are hiring an experienced Portfolio Manager to help lead it.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Legal & Operations Intern to support legal, compliance, corporate, and operational activities across the firm. This role works closely with leadership, the operations team, external counsel, and other cross-functional teams.
The internship offers hands-on exposure to the day-to-day legal and operational needs of a growing investment manager. The intern will assist with agreements, documentation, compliance initiatives, corporate records, research, and a variety of operational projects.
This is a broad, high-impact internship ideal for someone who is proactive, eager to learn, comfortable taking ownership of tasks, and interested in gaining exposure to how a sophisticated financial firm operates.
Contracts & Agreements
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, editing, and tracking agreements and legal documents
- Support the preparation and organisation of NDAs, consulting agreements, vendor agreements, employment-related documents, offer letters, and amendments
- Assist with contract execution and signature workflows
- Help maintain contract repositories and document management systems
- Track agreement renewals, obligations, and key deadlines
Employment & HR Legal Support
- Assist with offer letters and employment-related documentation
- Support onboarding and employment documentation processes
- Help maintain employment compliance records and documentation
- Assist HR and leadership with policy updates and internal documentation
- Support the organisation of employee and contractor records
Legal Research
- Conduct legal and regulatory research across relevant jurisdictions
- Help monitor regulatory developments affecting the business
- Summarise research findings for leadership, the operations team, and external counsel
- Support special projects requiring legal, regulatory, or compliance research
Corporate Governance
- Assist with maintaining corporate records and legal documentation
- Support the preparation of board materials, resolutions, and corporate filings
- Help coordinate documentation with external counsel, service providers, and regulatory bodies
- Assist with entity management and governance processes
Administrative & Operational Support
- Support the Operations team with day-to-day operational, administrative, and cross-functional projects
- Assist with coordinating legal, compliance, and operational initiatives across the firm
- Maintain organised filing systems, records, and documentation
- Track critical deadlines, renewals, filings, and action items
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and internal documentation
- Support onboarding, vendor management, documentation, and other operational workflows
- Assist leadership and the Operations team with special projects, research, and business initiatives
- Help improve internal processes and organisation as the firm continues to grow
- Handle confidential business, legal, and operational information with discretion and professionalism
Requirements
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in law
- Strong interest in legal operations, compliance, corporate matters, financial services, or business operations
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and areas of the business
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship, academic, or professional experience in legal, compliance, finance, operations, or a related area
- Legal studies, business, finance, or related academic background
- Familiarity with contracts, corporate governance, compliance, or employment matters
- Experience with DocuSign, document management platforms, spreadsheets, or other business tools
- Interest in financial markets, investment management, technology, or fintech
