About the role:

As a Senior Instructional Designer you will be designing training solutions, engaging with stakeholders to understand their business needs, and attending Design Workshops where you will deliver exciting ideas that will have the greatest impact on learners: these could include e-learning courses, games, animations – or a combination of all these things.  You will guide a team of Graphic Designers and Programmers throughout the project to ensure that training solutions are creative, captivating, modern and will create a measurable change in our clients’ organizations.

You will also use generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) throughout the production process to generate creative ideas, develop course outlines, produce design documents, create scripts, and much more.

Requirements

What you'll do:

• Designing learning experiences that are high-quality, highly creative, and impactful using AI tools every step of the way - from concept to production.
• Running Design Workshops to uncover stakeholder needs and provide learning consultancy where required.
• Working with stakeholders to understand their requirements and preferences and designing training materials to meet their needs, using AI to generate fresh ideas.
• Providing learning consultancy where required.
• Working with subject matter experts to develop e-learning course content using our AI tools.
• Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating online learning based on stakeholder requirements.
• Working with the team on instructional, graphic and assessment design across multiple projects simultaneously, within agreed standards, resources, and deadlines.
• Displaying strong versatile creative writing skills and guiding the team to write for a variety of training materials including e-learning, workbooks, games, animations, etc.
• Running creative meetings to keep projects on-track.
• Designing for multiple delivery methods.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 4 years' experience in an Instructional Design role, with 2 years+ working in a senior capacity.
• Experience using ChatGPT to create world-class content that feels personal and unique.
• Experience working with a range of corporate clients and internal stakeholders.
• Portfolio of high-quality work that shows versatility and creativity.
• Good knowledge of AI tools, as well as a strong desire to keep ahead of new AI developments.
• BA or equivalent experience.
• Excellent English creative writing skills.
• Strong views about how best to communicate information to a diverse audience.
• The ability to provide feedback on graphic designs and animated videos.
