The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. Meet the team:

You will join a high-energy team of professionals, reporting into the Senior Director of Corporate Development. Our team values open communication, collaboration, and a growth mindset. We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic individual to support the execution of inorganic growth initiatives, specifically focusing on corporate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and licensing transactions.

Where you come in:

  • You will work as part of a fast-paced team to collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate potential targets, lead multi-disciplinary due diligence teams, construct complex financial models, and ensure successful decision-making and deal execution including preparation of data-driven presentations for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
  • You will support and coordinate the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, ensuring all timelines, deliverables, and milestones are achieved, including coordinating cross-functional internal teams (Legal, Finance, Tax, HR, Operations, IT) and external advisors through rigorous financial, legal, and operational due diligence.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining detailed reporting templates, meeting cadences consistent with project timelines, and guide cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive reporting to properly inform internal approval processes.
  • You will support senior leadership in contract negotiations and the structuring of asset purchases, stock purchases, and other strategic inorganic transactions.
  • Your responsibilities will also include building, maintaining, and stress-testing comprehensive valuation models, including rigorous development of post-merger integration budgets.
  • You will track and maintain the company's active acquisition pipeline, managing incoming inquiries and establishing initial outreach with prospective targets.
  • As part of the deal team, you will support the design of operational pre-closing and post-closing integration frameworks and establish mechanisms to track, measure, and report on the realization of cost and revenue synergies post-acquisition.

What makes you successful:

  • You have 5 to 7+ years of direct transaction experience within corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or specialized transaction advisory groups, as highlighted in your deal sheet.
  • You bring experience in medtech, life sciences and/or technology industries and have prior exposure to public company environments, SEC compliance concepts, or large-scale corporate governance.
  • You have exceptional project management capabilities with a proven ability to manage multiple complex, confidential workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to manage, influence, and align disparate internal stakeholders without direct authority and you bring excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills suitable for regular interaction with C-suite executives and external counterparties.
  • You are a self-aware, self-directed individual with strong leadership skills and a high capacity for learning quickly.
  • Your positive attitude and strong work ethic enable you to thrive in meeting demanding deadlines.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, and skilled in the use of CoPilot across all MS Office modalities.
  • You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
  • You are intellectually curious.
