As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for reviewing and improving existing HR programs and processes. This includes evaluating the company’s current benefits package, such as HMO coverage and annual leave entitlements, to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with current market standards. You will also support day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee records management, attendance monitoring, payroll coordination, and general administrative activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring
· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to screening, interview coordination, and hiring
· Post job vacancies on appropriate recruitment platforms
· Screen applications and conduct initial interviews
· Coordinate interview schedules with applicants and hiring managers
· Facilitate pre-employment requirements and onboarding of new employees
· Maintain an updated recruitment tracker and candidate database
HR Administration
· Maintain and update employee records, 201 files, contracts, and other HR documentation
· Prepare employment contracts, certificates, HR letters, memos, and other employee-related documents
· Monitor employee attendance, leaves, overtime, and other HR-related records
· Assist in the preparation and coordination of payroll-related information
· Assist in employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
· Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of employee and company information
Employee Relations & HR Support
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, attendance, leave, and other HR concerns
· Assist in implementing company policies, procedures, and HR programs
· Support performance evaluations and employee development activities
· Assist in handling employee concerns, disciplinary documentation, and other employee relations matters when necessary
· Help organize employee engagement activities, training, and company events
Government Compliance & Benefits
· Assist in processing and monitoring government-mandated employee requirements and benefits
· Coordinate documentation related to statutory contributions and employee benefits
· Ensure HR records and documentation are properly maintained and updated
Administrative Duties
· Office Maintenance: Oversee office cleanliness, safety, repairs, and layout to maintain a clean and productive working environment
· Supplies & Inventory: Monitor inventory levels for office supplies, stationery, equipment, and kitchen or breakroom items, placing restock orders as needed
· Vendor & Service Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for building management, utility providers, IT support, cleaning staff, and office equipment suppliers
Requirements
Must-have Skills / Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
· At least 2–3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, administration, or a similar role
· Knowledge of core HR processes, including recruitment, employee records management, attendance, and payroll coordination
· Familiarity with Philippine labor regulations and government-mandated benefits is an advantage
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality
· Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
· Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Advantageous Experience/Skills:
· Previous experience working in the IT industry or a fast-paced environment
