FRONT END ENGINEER SR PRINCIPAL

As a Front- End Software Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role as a member of a talented team of engineers who develop, sustain, upgrade, and enhance software and full system solutions using the latest development tools, libraries, and techniques.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Front- End Software Engineer must have:

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

● Experience: 8-10 years of related software development experience

● Technical skills: Extensive experience with Angular, Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS, experience designing complex search interfaces, experience in optimizing web applications for performance and usability, experience integrating with third part API's, proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, experience with Linux operating systems.

● Desired Qualifications: Experience with SASS or LESS, hands-on experience working with NodeJS, MongoDB, familiarity constructing Elasticsearch queries.

● Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly

● US citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $164,211. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
