The Role…
At Soho House, as a Door Attendant you are the first point of contact for members and guests, setting the tone for a warm, welcoming, and secure experience. You will be responsible for providing professional and attentive front-door service, ensuring smooth entry and exit, managing guest flow, and maintaining a strong presence to uphold the club’s standards of hospitality and discretion.
This is a high-visibility role suited to individuals with a natural presence, excellent manners, and a strong understanding of both guest service and access control.

Key duties…
- Greet members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and discretion upon arrival
- Open doors, assist with coats, and provide directions or assistance as needed
- Manage the entrance to ensure only authorised members, guests, and staff access the premises
- Communicate with Reception and Security to coordinate arrivals, bookings, or issues
- Monitor queues or crowding, particularly during peak periods or events
- Maintain awareness of all arrivals, VIPs, and house rules at all times
- Assist with calling taxis, helping with luggage, or escorting members to vehicles when appropriate
- Remain present and attentive at the front entrance, offering help proactively and discreetly
- Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to management or security promptly
- Uphold the club’s values of hospitality, privacy, and high service standards
What we are looking for...
- Previous experience as a Security Guard, Door Supervisor, or similar role in hospitality, retail, or corporate settings.
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent (if required in your region).
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
