Sobre este puesto de Director, Sales Enablement & AI Transformation en Xometry
Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Xometry’s digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.
Xometry is looking for a Director, Sales Enablement & AI Transformation to drive the next evolution of our global sales organization. This is a hands-on role, not a traditional people-management role — you'll lead a small team while remaining closely engaged in the work yourself, scaling impact through AI-driven leverage rather than headcount.
You will hold dual responsibility: owning sales enablement end-to-end, while leading the strategic transformation of how our revenue team integrates AI into daily workflows. You won't just train reps on standard pitch decks — you'll build the enablement blueprint that turns our sales force into AI-empowered growth engines.
How You’ll Contribute:
- Sales Enablement Strategy & Execution
- End-to-End Enablement: Own the design, delivery, and measurement of onboarding, continuous learning, and sales methodology programs across Account Executives, SDRs, and Account Managers
- Playbook Development: Build and maintain dynamic sales playbooks, objection-handling guides, and deal execution frameworks tailored to Xometry's manufacturing marketplace offerings
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Pricing to ensure sales stays current on product changes, capability updates, and pricing shifts — translating those changes into field-ready messaging and assets in real time
- AI Sales Integration & Transformation
- AI Vision & Adoption: Define and execute the strategy for how Xometry's sales org uses Generative AI (including Claude), predictive analytics, and automated workflows in daily operations
- Tool Stack Optimization: Drive adoption and practical execution of AI sales tools (AI-driven CRM intelligence, conversational intelligence platforms, automated prospecting, AI email/writing assistants)
- Workflow Reinvention: Re-architect rep daily routines — reducing administrative burden, automating pitch customization, and elevating call coaching through AI insights
- AI Literacy & Prompting Skills: Build and roll out training on effective prompting, AI-assisted deal strategy, account research, and buyer personalization
- Hands-On Execution: Stay directly involved in building enablement content and AI-powered workflows, not just directing others to build them
- Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small enablement team, balancing strategic direction with hands-on involvement in delivery
- Impact Tracking: Establish key metrics (ramp time, rep productivity, AI tool utilization, training completion/CSAT) to quantify enablement ROI and iterate quickly
What You’ll Bring to Xometry:
- Experience: 8+ years in Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, or Sales Leadership within a high-growth B2B, tech-enabled marketplace, or industrial technology environment
- AI Technical & Practical Aptitude: Deep, hands-on familiarity with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gong/Chorus, Clay, Apollo, AI CRM features) and a track record of personally driving AI adoption — not just overseeing it
- Hands-On Orientation: Comfortable staying close to the work and operating with a lean team, rather than scaling primarily through headcount
- Process Architect: Track record building enablement programs that directly improved ramp time, sales cycle length, and quota attainment
- Change Management: Strong ability to lead change, simplify complex tech concepts for reps, and overcome adoption inertia
- Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable using data to identify skill gaps, process bottlenecks, and enablement ROI
The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $185,000-198,000 annually + bonus depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including 401(k) match, medical, dental and vision insurance; life and disability insurance; generous paid time off including vacation, sick leave, floating and fixed holidays, maternity and bonding leave; EAP, other wellbeing resources; and much more.
