Summary: Senior Solutions Consultant, Tax Technology
Responsible for implementing solutions with Microsoft. This role delivers services and project outcomes that support the successful deployment of technology products. Requires strong knowledge of products and integration with host applications.
This India-based role partners closely with the onshore team to extend delivery coverage and maintain project momentum across time zones. Working hours should generally align to the candidate s local time zone, with approximately one hour of overlap at the start or end of the day for handoffs, quick syncs, and blocker resolution. As the role matures, the consultant is expected to work increasingly independently, using clear asynchronous communication and documentation to move work forward while the onshore team is offline.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the onshore team on initial projects to build shared context quickly, then grow into ownership of assigned workstreams as project context builds.
Extend delivery coverage across time zones by progressing project work during India business hours so onshore colleagues return to work with momentum already built.
Eventually lead and oversee all aspects of end-to-end solution delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
Demonstrate advanced project management expertise for deployments, including resource allocation, documentation validation, specification review, level-of-effort estimation, project planning, scope control, and budget management.
Manage multiple concurrent projects successfully, balancing priorities and driving timely, high-quality outcomes.
Maintain approximately one hour of daily overlap with the onshore team, either at the start or end of the workday, for handoffs, quick syncs, and blocker resolution.
Configure and perform unit testing of e-Invoicing.
Configure ERP systems for seamless integrations.
Demonstrate expertise in technical integration components and their impact on solution design.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end ERP processes and their impact on product functionality.
Develop and execute test scenarios and troubleshoot issues within products and ERP environments to ensure accuracy and performance.
Document decisions, testing outcomes, open issues, and handoff notes clearly and proactively so asynchronous collaboration requires minimal back-and-forth.
Deliver presentations to customers, including project updates, solution demonstrations, and training sessions.
Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders, including senior leadership teams and customer executives, to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide guidance and mentorship to new team members on configuration and testing best practices.
Help build out the offshore practice itself: contribute to the framework, standards, and delivery playbook needed to hire and onboard junior offshore resources as the team grows in this region.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor s degree and 7-10 years of related work experience.
Functional and technical understanding of finance systems and processes.
Hands on knowledge of Microsoft D365 AR and AP business processes and related ISVs.
Working knowledge of e-Invoicing regulations, technologies, tax compliance and financial processes, and best practices.
Advanced understanding of API technologies and their role in system integration.
Demonstrated technical proficiency in API concepts, integration, and troubleshooting.
Strong operational management, project management, consulting, technology and process improvement skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities across technical and nontechnical teams.
Prior experience in an offshore or distributed delivery model, ideally supporting onshore U.S.-based teams or clients.
Excellent asynchronous communication and documentation habits, with the ability to drive work forward during hours when the onshore team is offline.
Sound independent judgment, balanced with knowing when to loop in onshore leads for broader input or client-level sign-off.
