As part of the Digital Transformation and Automation landscape, this role supports Azure platform administration, compliance adherence and quality validation of digital solutions.
You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, and IDT team to maintain stable and compliant cloud environments while ensuring solutions meet quality standards. The role also contributes to improving Azure environments by identifying optimization opportunities across performance, cost and reliability.
This is an excellent opportunity to build skills in Azure administration, governance, automation tools and quality engineering, while working in a global, collaborative environment aligned with Shell’s control frameworks and IT standards.
What is the Role?
As a Jr. Azure Administrator & Quality Engineer, you will support cloud operations, ensure compliance adherence and assist in improving platform reliability and solution quality.
- Supporting Azure administration (access management, monitoring, configurations)
- Ensuring compliance with Azure policies, security standards and control requirements
- Assisting in testing and validation of automation and digital solutions
- Monitoring systems and identifying areas for performance, cost, and reliability improvement
- Supporting incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in Azure and solution quality.
What We Need from You?
- 1–4 years of experience in cloud administration, IT support or quality engineering
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, networking, VN)
- Awareness of Azure security, compliance, and governance concepts (policies, RBAC, monitoring)
- Knowledge of cloud fundamentals and administration practices
- Exposure to software testing / quality assurance concepts
- Basic knowledge of Power Platform / automation tools, PowerBI (Power Automate preferred)
- Familiarity with SQL or data validation concepts
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or similar) is an advantage.
- Rollout of multifactor authentication, ensuring compliance within the Azure environment.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, networking, IAM)
- Awareness of Azure security, compliance, and governance concepts
- Knowledge of cloud fundamentals and administration practices
- Exposure to software testing / quality assurance concepts
- Basic knowledge of Power Platform or automation tools (Power Automate preferred)
- Familiarity with SQL / data validation concepts
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in cloud, compliance, and automation technologies
- Good collaboration and communication skills to work across global teams and stakeholders
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset to ensure secure, compliant, and high-quality solutions
