Analyst, Cash Applications (ISP)

Role Purpose

The Analyst – Cash Applications is responsible for executing daily cash application activities by accurately processing customer payments, applying cash to customer accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, and ensuring timely invoice clearance. The role supports efficient cash flow management while maintaining compliance with company policies, internal controls, and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume customer payments (Cheques, EFT, ACH, and Credit Cards) accurately in QAD and within defined turnaround times.
• Investigate, process, and escalate payment discrepancies, deductions, short payments, and exceptions to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Apply customer payments to customer accounts and resolve unapplied or unidentified cash transactions in QAD ERP.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets while supporting assigned operational projects and process initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, audit requirements, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills:

Must-Have Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in Cash Applications or Accounts Receivable processes.
• Strong understanding of payment processing and cash application activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas).
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume transactional environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Working knowledge of QAD or any other ERP system.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Exposure to global or shared services environments.
