This vacancy has arisen within the Aerodrome Safety & Compliance Department.
Purpose of Position:
The main purpose of this role is to assist, participate and oversee aerodrome regulatory, internal and third-party audits, in compliance with EASA requirements which fall under the responsibility of the Aerodrome Safety and Compliance Department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Aerodrome Safety and Compliance Department by actively participating in the aerodrome compliance monitoring functions.
- Participate and assist in the annual aerodrome regulatory oversight undertaken by the Regulator (TM-CAD).
- Assist in coordination with the respective MIA Department the preparation for the execution of MIA’s Annual Audit plans including (but not limited to):
- Internal Aerodrome (functional) Department audits
- Ground Handling Service Providers (RAMP)
- Aviation Fuel Service Providers (Fuel Quality Assurance Systems)
- Other Aerodrome Stakeholders
- Maintain follow-up on audit reports and provide regular feedback to the Head of Department and assure systems / software deployed for such purpose are held current.
- Follow-up and provide regular updates to the Head of Department on the status of internal and third-party audit findings.
- Assist in preparing and compiling compliance documentation which may be required to support MIA’s established Compliance Monitoring functions.
- Lead the process of aerodrome change management requirements as established under the MIA Aerodrome Manual.
- Maintain current the Aerodrome Certification Specifications and Operations Basis and the associated supporting documentation.
- Assist in overseeing that the established Aerodrome Training Plans are being executed by the respective functional departments and report back to the Head of Aerodrome Safety and Compliance.
- Assure that the respective aerodrome functional departments are maintaining training content current and certification documentation updated within established systems.
- Coordinate updates to retain current the Aerodrome Compliance documentation and the distribution of updates to manual holders.
